Chicken Hungarian Style
 

Chicken  with Paprika, Hungarian Style, easy to prepare. 
Will make 4 portions.

4 skinless chicken breasts, diced
200ml ( 7fl oz ) tub of crème fraîche
225g ( 8oz ) shallots, chopped
2-3 cloves garlic, crushed 
1 tablespoon mild paprika
1 tablespoon of sunflower oil
1 knob of unsalted butter
salt and freshly ground pepper

  1. fry the shallots in the oil and butter until transparent,
  2. add the chicken pieces and brown on all sides
  3. now add the crushed garlic
  4. leave to cook for a few minutes
  5. add the paprika
  6. stir and fry gently, don't burn the paprika or it will become bitter
  7. season to taste
  8. pour in the crème fraîche and heat gently
  9. serve with Spätzle, Noodles or Gnocchi  and cucumber salad, delicious.
