My favorite corner
This is one of my favorite spots. It is far enough from the house to
forget yourself and think that one is in the country.
To the right, a path leads to the wild garden and to the left of it,
up the slope is my vegetable plot which is not doing very well due to the
heavy rain we are having.

Smudge and Patch, brother and sister.
Smudge and Patch look as they are up to no good.
But I think fish has not been on their menu yet.
The ponds are rather overgrown and will need clearing out. The goldfish are
home grown, many having reverted back to a black colour, having survived the heron, which comes every spring.

The common water
lily
Frogs are rather threatened by my two cats, so I keep a lot of dense
foliage around my ponds for the frogs to hide.
