A refreshing and seasonal Dessert
serves 4
3-4 oranges, preferable organic
40g sugar
1 cup of
orange juice
1 cup of water
1 small glass of Grand Marnier or Cointreau
- wash oranges
- peel strips of orange peel and cut
into thin strips
- boil the strips with sugar in the
water and orange juice gently until it turns into syrup
- add the Grand Marnier to the syrup
- slice the oranges with the pith
removed
- place the orange slices into a bowl
and pour the syrup over it
- leave in refrigerator for at least
3 hours or over night
- serve with crème fraiche or yoghurt
and a sprig of mint
